Well we did warn you that ‘Tonight we’re gonna have ourselves a real good time’.
And we sure did just that at Synamedia’s traditional IBC party, an event where our customers embraced our theme and managed to forget about work for at least a few hours.
With the video and broadcasting sector being so niche and friendly, our party always provides a great opportunity to informally network and exchange ideas with all our customers, partners, prospects, colleagues and ex-colleagues!
Getting the right venue is key to any successful event and what better location than the truly unique West Indish Huis situated in an ultra-hip area of Amsterdam. With enough space to comfortably host 600 people, I can honestly say our 2019 “Bohemian Rhapsody” customer party was a great success.
Our delectable drag Queens greeted all guests with a “Freddie Mercury” welcome cocktail on arrival in the uplit open courtyard whilst listening to the sounds of Queen played out by the UK’s famous DJ-Clint Tee on the decks. The entire venue was aptly swaged with Freddie’s camp style of rich red velvet capes, draped faux leopard skin, crowns – big and small and all other kinds of paraphernalia!
The beautiful feather plumbed Candy girls worked the room with their charm, making sure all our guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves with the array of entertainment available around them.
Food Highlight of IBC 2019
Our event would not have been complete without a mouth-watering food display that tempted every palate from Fruit de Mer, Sushi, Italian, South American, Mexican, through to Freddie’s signature curry. All this complimented with a choice of amazing bars, Cocktail, Whisky, Gin, Traditional – you name it, we had it!
And of course, some might say, the highlight of the evening – Europe’s most authentic Queen tribute band took a captive audience into the small hours with their outstanding delivery of hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You and many more. It really was Guaranteed to blow your mind!
