Synamedia expands executive team
As it gets its building blocks in place after having fully acquired the video assets of Cisco, Synamedia has appointed Sue Couto as senior vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific.
Synamedia first set out its strategy at IBC 2018, unveiling video technology industry stalwart Abe Peled as chairman. With the purchase of the SPVSS group, thanks to its backing by Permira funds, Synamedia boasts that has a global portfolio of 590 patents encompassing Infinite Video Platform product, cloud digital video recording, video processing, video security and client software.
Effective immediately, Couto will join Synamedia’s executive team to drive growth and expand customer relationships across Asia Pacific.
