Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps taken by Synamedia Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries (“Synamedia”, “we”, “our”) to prevent Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking in our business and supply chains. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of Modern Slavery and are committed to acting ethically and responsibly in everything we do.
Our Business
Synamedia is the world’s largest independent provider of video solutions, employing more than 1,600 people globally. Our supply chain includes global and regional providers of software, technology, infrastructure, and professional services.
Our Policies
We maintain policies that reflect our commitment to ethical conduct and to preventing Modern Slavery, including our:
- Employee Code of Conduct
- Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
- Supplier Code of Conduct
- Whistleblowing Policy
- Recruitment and right-to-work procedures
These set expectations for our employees and suppliers and support an open culture where concerns can be reported safely and confidentially.
Due Diligence and Supply Chain Management
We assess and manage Modern Slavery risk through:
- Supplier screening during onboarding
- Contractual requirements for suppliers to meet labour and human rights standards
- Risk-based monitoring of suppliers, including enhanced checks for higher-risk geographies or services
- Regular compliance reviews
Training
All employees receive training to help them identify and escalate potential Modern Slavery risks or any other human rights risk. This is conducted on an annual basis.
Assessing Our Effectiveness
We monitor our progress using indicators such as:
- Adherence to our codes of conduct
- Completion of Modern Slavery training
- Internal reviews of recruitment and procurement processes
- Any concerns raised through our reporting channels
Review and Approval
This statement is reviewed annually and published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It has been approved by the Board of Directors of Synamedia Holdings Limited.
