NativeWaves

NativeWaves has worked with us to develop an in-stadium live streaming experience. Now sports fans can replay action, view multiple camera angles and stats on their 5G mobile devices, in real-time, right from their seats. The app uses technology from across our portfolio.

Amazon Web Services

In the AWS booth, we will show our Vivid OTT solution for sports streaming. We recently deployed this at Cellcom in partnership with AWS. It resulted in latency reductions from up to 30 seconds to under 3 seconds, from ingest to playout. Visitors will experience the benefits of Vivid OTT and MPEG DASH low latency delivery on a multi-camera feed with nearly imperceptible delay. Other Synamedia solutions in the AWS booth are Vivid PowerVu and Quortex Play.

Google

Advertising experts from Google and Synamedia will show how to insert ads more efficiently using advanced ad management techniques that allow personalisation on a mass scale for sports streaming and live events.

Synamedia and AMD have partnered to deliver the best possible live experience at scale to any screen by processing and encoding more pixels in real time than ever before, and doing so with a reduced carbon footprint. The two companies will show how they have raised the bar for video compression by scaling performance more than just linearly, while reducing the energy required to process and encode a single channel.

In partnership with DASH-IF and Eyevinn Technology, we will demonstrate a proof-of-concept of what the future holds with DASH-IF, which combines DASH with WebRTC and Synamedia’s edge CDN application-tailored latency

Triveni Digital

Synamedia is a part of Triveni Digital’s live demo of a bundled solution for low-power TV broadcasters. The demo combines our ATSC 3.0 encoder with Triveni’s Digital GuideBuilder XM ATSC-3.0 scheduler.
