YES selects Synamedia Iris
to power advanced advertising

London, 10 March 2026 – Leading video software provider Synamedia today announced that YES, the pay-TV subsidiary of the telco Bezeq (TASE: BEZQ), has selected Synamedia Iris to deliver advanced advertising capabilities.  This deployment will enable YES to expand its services with addressable advertising.

YES chose Synamedia Iris because of its flexibility to support new ad-funded business models as YES looks to further monetise its premium content. YES joins a growing number of leading service providers, including OSNMTN and Astro who are using Iris to transform their advertising strategies and increase the value of their inventory with high-quality ad experiences for viewers.

Synamedia Iris will unify ad insertion across YES’s TV and streaming devices, spanning a mix of set-top box platforms, and OTT applications on smart TVs. Powered by Iris’s scalable server-side ad insertion (SSAI) technology, the deployment ensures seamless, optimised and secure ad delivery wherever audiences are watching. With a highly flexible architecture designed to interoperate with YES’s existing technology partners, Iris helps streamline ad operations and provides the foundation for YES to scale its advertising business efficiently.

Synamedia Iris will be integrated with YES’s streaming platform technology powered by Synamedia Go Experience Manager to deliver editorial strategies and personalised viewing experiences. Synamedia Go is a modular SaaS OTT video platform that enhances and simplifies streaming service management. The solution also incorporates Synamedia technologies and services including FluidEdge CDN, security, and disaster recovery.

Itzik Elyakim, VP of Engineering at YES, said, “As we continue to evolve our services to meet changing viewer preferences and market dynamics, advanced advertising capabilities are essential to our strategy. Synamedia Iris provides the technology we need to deliver premium ad experiences that maintain the high quality of experience our subscribers expect.”

Guy Southam, Senior Product Director, Synamedia Iris, said, “As consumer habits evolve, ad-supported business models are increasingly important for telco operators like YES. I am pleased to  work with YES to provide its customers and advertising partners with unified, personalised, relevant advertising, seamlessly integrated into their existing technology ecosystem.”
