Synamedia unveils the Senza network of innovation, developer and reseller partners
As we launch Synamedia Senza and break down the barriers caused by user device proliferation and fragmentation, we are also launching a network of partners who have contributed to Senza’s vision and who will push forward innovation, along with our Developers’ Program.
The Senza network will support media & entertainment (M&E), digital signage, hospitality, IoT, and other vertical markets with the creation of personalised, immersive viewing experiences at a far lower cost than previously possible. Leading video platforms are also eager to embrace bring-your-own device capabilities with Senza.
The Senza network includes:
- The Innovation Partner Program with the likes of Barvanna and OTTera;
- The Developer Program;
- The Reseller Program featuring industry leaders such as Advanced Media Technologies (AMT) and Toner Cable.
Organisations and businesses across industries need pay-as-you-use, easy-to-integrate platforms that they can quickly spin up and easily maintain and refresh. Senza makes this a reality while also lowering cost-related barriers of entry and reducing the technological limitations needed to bring more captivating viewing experiences to screens.
With Senza, an application only needs to be published in the cloud to reach every screen. We’re eliminating the need for massive localisation efforts or configuration for each in-home device because it’s all managed centrally over the internet. As Senza changes how content applications are delivered, enhanced and consumed, the opportunities are endless and our partners and solutions providers are energised by this promising new future. Together, we’re leading the way for unstoppable video innovation.
Senza Innovation Partners
Our partners will extend Senza’s reach as they benefit from the platform’s unique value proposition. Examples include: FAST channels can deliver more value-added user experiences including interactivity without any ecosystem fees; bars and entertainment venues can use Senza to link and blend live sports and offer trivia games; and hospitality partners can create personalised experiences that can be customised to any property and each room.
Here’s what our launch Innovation Partners say:
- “Switching to cloud-based video processing opens up new possibilities for innovation and growth. We saw that Senza could make this happen right away and we were immediately intrigued” said Sean Riley, Co-Founder and President, Barvanna. “We’re confident it will help us make data-driven decisions, onboard customers faster, upgrade existing ones more smoothly, and deliver more advanced video and graphics.”
- “We are always committed to providing our customers with the widest distribution for their services while simultaneously connecting viewers to new and exceptional content,” said Jordan Warkol, Vice President of Business Development, OTTera. “Partnering with Synamedia achieves both, and we eagerly anticipate their plans with Senza.”
Senza Developer Program
Synamedia has also created a Senza Developers Program with a dedicated site for developers of all experience levels. Here developers have access to a full library of resources including APIs, tutorials and documentation to jumpstart Senza innovation. This self-service portal puts the control in the developers’ hands, empowering them to create, test and deploy web apps independently on the Senza platform.
By simplifying the process, even small businesses – such as a restaurant or a boutique hotel – can be up and running quickly using a web environment without the need for external specialist developer skills. This reduces the cost barriers to create and update applications, which also extends to integration with mobile apps through powerful cloud APIs.
A Senza hackathon is being planned. Contact us for more details.
Senza Reseller Program
Synamedia is also building a reseller network for Senza. As a part of this program, we have expanded our existing partnership with AMT to extend the reach of Senza into markets across North America, Europe and Latin America. We’ve also teamed up with Toner Cable in the telco industry. If you’re interested in joining the Senza Reseller Program, please email [email protected].
Here’s what our resellers have to say:
- “As a trusted business advisor with a reputation for bringing industry leading solutions to market, AMT is constantly seeking ‘what’s next,'” said Brian Fallon, Senior Vice President of Go to Market, AMT. “We’ve built a solid track record for delivering innovative options to our broadband, cable and telco customers in North America, South America and Europe – and we’re energised to get them onboarded to Senza.”
- “We pride ourselves in understanding the unique need of our customers in the government, hospitality, multi-dwelling unit and retail industries in North America, Latin America and Europe. Each need a unique solution to their unique challenges,” said BJ Toner, president of Toner Cable. “Senza’s browser-based environment and its low price point are strong differentiators for those looking to offer new applications overtime. We look forward to helping our customers grow with this new technology.”
